Hello! It's been ages since I last updated this blog with an outfit post.
Oh well blame it on the husband. hahaha Truth be told, asking him to do my outfit shots had always been a constant source of argument between us long before we were married. So you know it came to a point that I got tired and just stopped asking him. Kidding aside, I can't blame him though coz he has a lot of things on his hands lately. Besides, marriage is all about compromises and not sweating out the small stuff. And there are also a lot of more important things that deserve more of my time and attention and that is raising two beautiful kids and running a household.

But hey, the husband was extra nice to me a couple of days ago and volunteered (yes, he volunteered!  awwwww!) to spare me a couple of shots. :) Thanks to my fuchsia lipstick coz the husband got the message! :)

A wee bit of heaven, drifted from above
A handful of happiness, a heart full of love.

The mystery of life, so sacred and sweet
The giver of joy, so deep and complete.

Precious and priceless, so lovable too
The world's sweetest miracle, baby, is YOU.

This one deserves a post.

We expected a tantrum of all tantrums, but our darling Franco was behaved from start to end.

Mom and Dad are so proud of you, our handsome little man. :)

My weekends and off days as of late are spent running errands or doing DIYs for my son's upcoming first birthday. You know what they say about stagemoms, it's true. Haha

There's nothing more toxic than preparing a birthday but it's also fun at the same time. I've never thrown a party for my own natal day so this one for my son excites me the most. I can't wait to see the end result. :)

The birthday's next week already so gaaahhh i'm kind of panicking to iron out everything before the month ends. May the odds be ever in my favor.

{ D I S T R E S S E D }

I woke up at the right side of the bed and decided to do an outfit shot. haha This is one of the rare times that the husband whipped out his camera and offered to shoot me. Yes, he seldom does that so I was just more than happy to oblige.

We were off to a client meeting and wanted to look put together but not quite put together, know what i mean, hence the distressed jeans. Black, loose and lightweight tops are my go-to choices lately because they hide the post-baby belly (LOL) and course because they give you a slimming silhouette. Finished off with gold accessories and black heels to complete the distressed glam look.

I know these pictures are almost a year old. But I'm posting them anyway. Pregnancy is a tough stage and motherhood is tougher. After I gave birth, I realized I am not invincible, but discovered I was a strong woman. Boy oh boy, normal child birth was painful. But the first time I heard my baby cry, it was the most beautiful sound in the world (next to the sound of his heartbeat during our first ultrasound).

I can't commit to blogging regularly but I'll be posting pictures from time to time. *pinky promise*
