{ MILITARY OFF-DUTY }

I'm always in love with military-inspired dressing regardless if its in fashion or not. The
tough i-dont-really-care vibe of military pieces contribute to the badassness of an outfit. It adds a dose of confidence on days when I'm lazy to dress up.

Olive green jacket: Izzue, Grey shirt: Giordano, Leggings: SM Dept. Store

Stole the olive green jacket and grey shirt from my dad. He's just one size larger than I am so I could very well fit into his clothes. :)

We delivered some items for a client that morning and proceeded to a  short meeting after. Wore this Forever 21 leopard booties because it's been ages since I last wore this pair. Just giving it some lovin' because shoes tend to self-destruct if you don't take it out for a spin.

Rings: 168 Mall, Bag: Thrifted

 I used to dress ruggedly back in college and this ball cap is a remnant of my old college clothes. No fuss dressing was the norms in engineering school back then I wonder if that's still true up to now. :)

Changed into flats after for an afternoon engagement shoot for  Gizelle of Vanilla Ice Cream. Too excited to post the photos here. I might post BTS shots. :)

Leopard booties: Forever 21, Blue flats: Greenhills

That's it for now. Hope you had a blast with your long weekend! :)

{ DARK AND GLOOMY }

Last week I had to let go of one of the things that really matters to me, my Nikon DSLR camera. It was really heartbreaking I had to resist the urge to grab it from the buyer and call off the deal while he was thoroughly inspecting it. I decided to just wait in the car and let my boyfriend deal with the buyer while I struggled with my feelings and convinced myself that it had to be done. If only I had lots of money to upgrade to a new camera and keep the old one on the side, I would. But because we're saving up, a new camera would only be possible by letting go of the old one. :( I hope the new owner takes care of that baby and may they create wonderful memories through pictures together. I know material things are just fleeting. But it's the love and care that you put into a thing that makes it more special and hard to let go. I'm so sentimental.

And because I'm devoid of a camera now, these lovely photos were taken by the boyfriend to ease my sorrows away. These were shot during a hippie-themed engagement shoot for one of our clients. Even my clothes and the weather reflected my current state of emotion that day; dark and gloomy.

After a 3-week hiatus, I am back. Kind of semi-back only but whatever I miss blogging so much I am trying to find time for it. And what better way to show a comeback than to sport a new 'do! :)

 I got tired of my frizzy beach hair so I decided to try the straight hair look and went to the salon for a rebond session. I would have loved to get a perm again but the last time left me so distraught at the results (the perm lasted only a day!) so I overruled the idea. Anyways there's always the curling rod should I miss the wavy locks. :)

 I HAVE MISSED YOU, GUYS!!! :)

{ LITTLE MISS BUSY BEE }

Juggled Saturday with a birthday party, meet-up, movie date, and some midnight ukay in downtown Cebu.

I attended my bestfriend's post-birthday treat first at Cebu White Sands. Then proceeded to do the meet-up at Ayala to pick-up the vintage stuff I ordered online. Initially watching a movie was not part of the plan but the boyfriend can't resist the Wrath of the Titans. I had to control myself not to doze off half of the movie. It was not that bad but I think I kind of had enough with these gods and titans thing I've seen lately (we previously watched The Immortals, too).  Was supposed to call it a night before Vanessa East texted for a midnight ukay spree with Aisa of Drowning Equilibriums who was in town for a styling stint. I didn't know the ukays at Carbon are open until the wee hours of the morning.
All in all it was an eventful Saturday spent with the most fun people in the world. It was draining but it was a day well spent. :)

Photos below are from Eda's birthday. As much as I want to document our ukay escapade, bringing a heavy DSLR was not a practical idea during that time. haha Plus the boyfriend's gonna kill me if he finds out I brought something so tempting for those notorious people Carbon is known for.

{Holiday Rush}

Went to run some errands and bought gifts for the coming Holiday season. Also accompanied the boyfriend to survey prospective locations for an upcoming shoot. So the only way to go was to wear flats for such an action-packed day. Action-packed in a sense that shopping nowadays requires a lot of legwork and patience (especially long cue for the cashier and the cab) to get everything done in one day.
Also decided to wear this breezy top I scored a while back from Gillian during the Bloggers United 2 bazaar. I got this one for free. Thanks Gillian! :)

edit: The top is from Eden pala. haha Sorry for the mix-up. Thanks Eden! :)

Manila bloggers invited us for dinner at the Borough in Podium a day after the Bloggers United event for a chitchat and of course a whole lot of camwhorin'. It's amazing that the bloggers I only see and read about on the www I was face to face with them that night. Yes, they are very nice! There was no dead air moment coz we felt like we've known each other for too long already. Yes, that's the power of blogging, people!
Thank you so much guys for such a fun night. Hope we see each other again soon. :)
But in the meantime, I know I should double time on my blog hopping! Gotta make that part of my New Year's resolution. :)
