{ VINTAGE FRESH }

I am not a make-up person. I can get by each day with merely a lip balm and a face powder. Early this year I bought a huge set of make-up for me to practice on. But it still sat there in my room seldom touched. I want to learn but I am too lazy to watch youtube tutorials or read tips from magazines (beauty isn't my fave section).  I envy those who have patience to sit steadily in front of the mirror and spend thirty minutes or more to prep up.  I think I also have to master the courage to spend PhP 1000++ for a lipstick. Everytime I see a price tag that costs that much it would always translate to a brand new pair of shoes  that costs the same. Or the quantity of vintage clothes I could buy with that amount. So it all boils down to priorities and make-up is always on the tail end.
Part of my ultimate make-up goal is to learn how to do the smokey eyes, draw the most perfect of eyebrows, put on false eyelashes in a jiffy, and go to Rustan's, take a deep breath and buy that ridiculously beautiful pink MAC Lipstick I have been eyeing for quite some time now.

{ HURRIED UP }

What I wore to our late Father's Day lunch with the whole family. Everyone was all set waiting for me to get finished as I'm always the last one to get prepared. haha I hate waiting so it's always me who volunteers to be the last one to use the bathroom. The downside to not waiting is you'll also be hurried up by everyone else. So oftentimes I end up lipstick-free or with unkempt hair. haha
This was the outfit I came up with in a hurry. Added the polo to make up for my bare legs. Opted to wear flats since my boyfriend and I had to run errands later that day.

God, it's still Tuesday and I'm already weakened out with all this stress. I can't wait for the weekend to come sooner.

That's all for now,lovelies. Good night!

Awww. My dog wants his share of the spotlight too! :)

Did some last minute packing and buying toiletries for my 4-day Manila work stint. The heat has been unbearable lately so I' dressed up in as little clothing as possible.  Decided to wear this  sexy lingerie top but realized  it was too sexy for my own taste so I toned it down by wearing this sweet floral cover-up.
That's all for today. Have to sleep now. Flight tomorrow is at 4:00 a.m. :)

Hope you had a fun weekend! :)

I love it that vintage swimsuits are back. They hide every inch of the dreaded "puson" or those unsightly love handles.  At least I don't have to hold my breath now to tuck  the tummy in. Being a big vintage fan, I've always wanted to own  a highwaist bikini but it was hard to find back then. Thank God online shops are plagued with stocks of these swimmies.

{ FLOWER CHILD : PREVIEW }

Photobucket

I promised the boyfriend he'll be the first to post photos but a teaser will not hurt, right?
He had me pose for him  so he can practice on the editing software he bought recently. I stole one picture  and edited it my way. haha He's gonna kill me for this but he doesn't stalk my blog so he wouldn't know. haha What you don't know won't hurt you, as the saying goes.

Once he gets to round up the set, I'll share them here. :)

 I promised myself to wear more skirts and dresses in the coming days. I noticed I've been wearing a lot of my default shorts look lately  because it's either I was too lazy to come up with something interesting or was just in a hurry to browse through the cabinet for some mix and matching. With the lifting of our uniform policy this March,  I am hoping I could squeeze in some decent outfit shots at work.

Also, I finally got myself a more hightech cellphone. Believe it or not, this is the first mobile phone I ever own. My past phones were all hand me downs. I'm not very particular with a phone's aesthetic value for as long as it could text and call. And being a forever clumsy person, I thought it was a waste of money to invest in something i know will definitely break into pieces coz of my clumsiness. haha
But you know everybody is entitled to a change of heart. So here I am finally starting to love and have a relationship with my phone.

I got all busy with my phone during my recent trip to Manille. I'm currently addicted to mobile uploads on facebook. Please forgive the first-timer, it shall pass. haha Next project to master is Twitter. Baby steps.

Presenting to you my bestest friends from highschool. This is their first appearance on my blog because we seldom get together nowadays due to our individual toxic schedules. But when we do, it's always a never ending bombardment of gossips, what nots, some serious life stuff and of course laughter from start to end.
Highschool would have never been fun and bearable if not for these wonderful souls. I love them to pieces.

{ CLASSIC SOUL }

For my office attire, I almost always tend to go for the clean vintage chic look. Comfort is an utmost priority too. I work on the third floor where I  go up and down the stairs almost 10 times everyday so a comfortable pair of high heels is also a must. And lastly a huge bag that can contain my laptop and all the other essentials.

And oh yeah today is hearts day. We are never really big on celebrating Valentines we always just wanted to have our usual everyday dinner together.  I regretted we tried to go out and have a decent dinner because it was an epic failure. The long line at the resto was already that bad but the traffic was even worse. I guess we'll have to skip dining out Next Valentines and probably just eat at home.

How was your Valentines, lovelies? :)

Keeping it simple, comfortable, and girly during one of those client meetings. I strongly believe that the world will not end this 2012. It shouldn't be because some things in my life that were previously in disarray are finally falling into its place. I believe this is my year.
 Thank you so much Lord for all the blessings.

{ NOSTALGIC GROUND }

Spent my Saturday last week shooting a client's engagement at our alma mater, the University of San Carlos - Technological Center a.k.a. TC a.k.a Bukid. Stepping into The Portal (that's how they call the entrance gate nowadays) brought back some good old bittersweet memories of my life at the university. Sweet because this was where I met my bestfriend/enemy/soulmate/fiance some ten years ago. Bitter because college life was anything but easy especially the last three years where all the major subjects thesis and plant design included  were tackled . Up until now I still cannot fathom why I studied Chemical Engineering. I wanted to be a lawyer during highschool and I originally applied for Political Science at the USC-Main but backed out because the main campus used to be toxic then and I wanted a relax and chill environment. haha
But I think the universe must have conspired to bring me to enroll at TC and paved the way for me to meet my partner. Gosh. Cheesy. haha
