Yesterday was cheat day because of the May 1 Labor day  off. But instead of lazing around in the house being work-free, I had a long day attending meetings with clients and running errands. Truth be told, it's not easy juggling work and a business at the same time. My regular job as I said on my last post is no easy feat. The business on the other hand is a lot harder especially during the conceptualization and post-production stage.
So with that reason we treated ourselves with another bout of spa session after such a rigorous day.
This is our guilty pleasure at the moment. I've never been a big fan of spa treatments before because I hated the feeling of other people touching my body. But during the boyfriend's birthday last month I finally agreed to try it. It was so refreshing and relaxing, I'm addicted to it since then. This was already our third visit and we tried the foot scrub/massage this time around. It was a perfect way to end the day and reward ourselves in celebration of Labor Day. :)

Survived a health scare this week. I think stress was a big factor. It has been one hell of a busy week and my body sort of warned me to slow down and relax. But how can I relax when next week and the whole month of December and January is already planned out. But all these work are blessings from the heavens so I will just have to embrace everything and maybe listened to the doctor's advice to drink a lot of water and avoid salty food. Eeeek! The first one I can probably do but the second one? I don't know I think I'm not yet ready to give up on junk food. So help me God.

P.S. It may have looked like I was relaxing at the beautiful  Shangri-la but I was actually working on a shoot here. This even conflicted with the bloggers photoshoot for a newspaper feature in which i was supposedly part of :( But hey there's always next time.

Found the perfect flowy maxi skirt during a recent thrifting stint at the boyfriend's hometown. Good old town fiesta bazaars offer the cheapest and most exciting treasure trove. Most of my adored clothes are almost always left lying there at the bottom of the pile untouched, waiting to be discovered by someone with a penchant for unique print and texture.

Worn to a client engagement shoot at Mancao heritage house in Carcar, south of Cebu.
