This is my favorite summer bag. How can it be not, this was our giveaway during our wedding last November. :) The quote is from the Beatles song "Because". I love that it's simple, catchy, and fits our personalities perfectly.

{ THIRTY-FIRST }

What is it about getting older that most people dislike. Is it about getting fine lines and wrinkles or getting those inevitable flabs? I don't know with you guys but none of that bothers me at all (well at least not in a serious level anyway). The one thing about getting old that's making me antsy is the fact that my parents get older too and you know when people get old, we get plagued with health concerns. And that's one thing that scares me the most. 

So on my 31st birthday (yes I am 31 and I am not one bit shy to admit it), my only wish is just good health and long life to my parents and for the rest of my family especially to the little bundle of joy my husband and I are expecting.

{ SUMMER SOLSTICE }

These photos were taken last February, not the official start of summer yet, but the heat and the blue skies signaled that my favorite time of the year has come earlier. 

We were scouting for locations in Cebu South for an editorial shoot we will be doing this month for a top wedding blog. Will post photos of the official shoot once the feature is up on their website. It will showcase collaborative work of my husband photographer, Marlon Capuyan, stylist Cuckoo Cloud Concepts ( headed by Ms. Vanilla Ice Cream herself, Gizelle), and some of the best talents from the Cebu wedding scene. So please do watch out for that. :)

I know I'm not big on blogging about my personal life although sometimes I tackle about personal stuff but only on the surface. Not really the type that digs deep on the matter. I only write longer entires when I'm frustrated or angry about something but you may have noticed they do not see the light of internet day because I delete them once I'm done writing them. 

But this, I am comfortable to share. It would be a shame if I didn't. Because sooner or later, you will  see more of me in a much fuller figure. Yes, I am currently expecting our first baby. And you bet I am gonna rock this moment in my life every single day that I can. So expect pregnancy posts (still fashion posts, of course) on the days to come. I hope I will not bore you. haha

Sometimes, ideas pop out here and there when I cram. Back in college, I had the penchant of memorizing formulae and equations on the dawn of a morning exam. And the results always turned out fine. Yes, I work better when under pressure. I hate to overplan and I'm not comfortable of being too prepared. A little entropy in life is good. I hate being too organized, I want a little chaos. If you ask me if I have a ten-year plan or even a five-year plan, I have none. I just like to live for the moment and seize the day as it comes. 

Pardon me If I'm blabbing again. What I'm saying is it's less than two months to go and I'm only 40% done with my preparations. I can do this. Because I work best when under pressure. 

I'm off to another brainstorming session with the boyfriend. I have so much to share in the coming days. :)

{ THE TOURIST }

We've been to Bohol on various occasions either for a wedding or engagement session but the place holds a beauty so dear that I still can't stop myself from abusing the shutter button of my camera.

One of the perks of out of town shoots is you get to discover really awesome places and meet really wonderful people who stuff you with really delicious and gastronomic meals. Really. Andaming really. haha

Thank you Melai and Ruel for showing us around and for making our job a million times easier. You're both fun to work with and the camera just loves you. :)

The Outfit:

Wore something light and breezy because it was specially hot that day. This skirt was of the perfect length; it's comfortably long enough to cover the knickers when I have to get down for a shot.

Plus the print was a no-brainer, I just had to wear it.
