{ T O M B O Y I S H }

One good thing about having a burgeoning baby bump is I can borrow stuff from the husband particularly this polo top which he has neglected to wear because of his fluctuating weight.

Wore this super casual and comfortable outfit to an engagement shoot for one of our clients. The theme was 90's grunge rock that's why I had this lovely Doc Martens with me. I've always wanted to own one   coz it instantly gives you that model-off-duty vibe. haha I wish.

{ PLAIN JANE AND THAT GORGEOUS AFTERNOON LIGHT }

One of those days when you've got nothing to wear because your clothes are still in the laundry. It's a good thing the husband did not run out of his portion of clothes I get to borrow some during this fashion emergency.

I used to dress up like this back in college. I used to be just a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers kind of girl. Because in engineering school, the more rugged you look the better. Not that there's anything wrong with that. As far as I can remember, I got interested in wearing clothes other than the usual t-shirt when I started to develop hips. Funny but true. I was stick thin a little over half of my life and I hated it. So when I started to pack some meat on my body, I was more confident to try new clothes, experiment until I found out what works for me. Now I like to wear cute dresses, short shorts, and high heels. But it's also fun to go back to one's previous comforts. And I have to admit the husband got reminded of the girl he fell in love with in college that he got very inspired to take my photos they turned out so damn good. :) I have that gorgeous afternoon light to thank. And hey, husband's skills too!(he'll kill me if I only credit the lighting.haha) :)

Photos: Mom

It's Friday and I decided to wear a casual outfit for a movie date with the boyfriend later in the day. I actually had an extra long sleeve cover-up for work coz sleeveless clothes are not allowed in the office and to protect me also from the blasting AC which is situated directly at my back.

Thank you to my mom for lending me some few inches in the photos. I trained her to always take my outfit shots from the ground up so I'd look taller. haha She's always uncomplaining. She and my  4-year old nephew who also serves as her assistant.

Saturday mornings are usually spent shooting weddings. Today was an exception. The boyfriend and I had a sumptuous brunch together before he headed off to his project. He told me to get the day-off. So I'm gonna go prepare the DVD and have a City Hunter (this Korean series I'm currently addicted to!) marathon until he finishes the shoot.  Then we'll have  dinner and sundae at Cafe Maru later in the day.

Life is simple but beautiful.

Happy Saturday, everyone! :)

Keeping it simple, comfortable, and girly during one of those client meetings. I strongly believe that the world will not end this 2012. It shouldn't be because some things in my life that were previously in disarray are finally falling into its place. I believe this is my year.
 Thank you so much Lord for all the blessings.

I can't believe I braved the crowd in Downtown Cebu for some last minute gift shopping a day before Christmas. Me of all people who hates crowds decided to buy in a shopping battle place like Colon. Because it's a lot cheaper than in malls I can totally understand why people flock to this side of the city whether it be holiday, school, graduation, or all souls day season.

Prior to that, I even scored some cute thrifted stuff during its annual night market a few weeks ago.

In light of the tragedy that happened to our fellow Filipinos in Cagayan de Oro City, Iligan City, and Dumaguete, let's all be united in helping them in whatever way that we can. For sure, relief good stations are strategically located within your area and definitely in churches. And most of all, our prayers will surely go a long long way.

Merry Christmas everyone! :)

Currently at NAIA Terminal 3 after my four-day trip to Manille for the Bloggers United 2 and for some office work. I had so much fun at the BU2. I have tons of pics to share with you guys. Hope I could post them all within the week.
Also did some serious clothes replenishment at an ukay store just across the office. They were on sale at PhP20 each and I can't believe I bought twenty pieces which resulted to me being 4 kilos overweight at the airport. hahaha But they were worth it because some of it were designer finds.

Ciao! Will update soon. :)

P.S. Photos were from a client shoot. Yes, I know, STAND-IN lang ako. haha

A comfortable outfit during a blazingly hot day when I assisted the boyfriend for an engagement shoot.

One must have a light summery tunic, a wide brim hat for extra protection from the sun, oversized sunglasses for full coverage, comfortable sandals that's not too high, and a huge bag to contain the props and all the other essentials.

Comme On

Thrifting day is Comme des Garcons day. I noticed I have a penchant for wearing this very comfy t-shirt during my thrifting excursions. When thrifting, one should wear the comfiest of clothes and footwear to allow you to move freely between racks. Prior to that one must exercise those muscles to be able to survive hours of selecting from hangers-full of clothes. hahaha It is safe to say that thrifting makes a great exercise.

Went out to deliver some items for the client. I was running late and was so uninspired to dress up.
Wore the first thing that caught my eye which was this oversized pink top from Gap which I thrifted a while back and just piled all the accessories stocked in my bag from a previous gig.
Boyfriend even got pissed off coz I sneaked some outfit shots before we went our way. haha

Photo taken by my sister and edited via Picnik; my favorite editing tool way before I learned how to use photoshop.
