{ NOIR ET BLANC }

These were outtakes from our fun shoot with friends. I modeled (yikes, so dyahe the word haha ) for my friend Sigh's Chic Vintage online shop. I also got the new cam the day prior so I had the chance to snap these.

Truth be told, there are only two people in the world I am comfortable posing in front of. That would be my boyfriend and my mom. I get really shy in front of the camera let alone be in front of an audience. My knees would wobble and my expression appears constipated. haha That is why I'd rather have my outfit photos taken in the house than in front of the prying eyes of the public. My boyfriend knows that I hate being photographed in the malls or anywhere crowded so when I do want to have my photos taken in those places, my boyfriend automatically knows he would shoot me in paparazzi style. No pose; just the walking and looking down as if I am unaware I was being photographed. haha

BLOGGERS UNITED STRIKE THREE!!!

Photobucket

Watch out for Bloggers United, loves! I am once again attending. Yey! :)

Bloggers United Strikes Three!

Third time’s the charm for the most anticipated fashion bloggers event in the country!
Bloggers United is staging their third bloggers bazaar this June 2 at the Grandview Events Place to once again gather Manila’s top fashion bloggers in one single venue outside of the World Wide Web. After holding two successful events last year, Bloggers United has easily become one of the most anticipated affairs for both fashion bloggers and readers in the metro. More than just a bazaar, Bloggers United also partners with charitable groups to use and channel their influence in a positive manner.
Through the overwhelming power of social media and blogs in today's generation, the previous Bloggers United events have successfully joined forces with top fashion bloggers like Laureen Uy, Camille Co, Kryz Uy and many more to inspire their followers and to raise funds for various beneficiaries, namely KIDS Foundation and GMA Kapuso Foundation. This time around, the event will benefit Operation Smile Philippines.

So, if you love blog-reading and blog-hopping, Bloggers United is sure to be the perfect end-of-summer bazaar for you. Not only will you be able to bump elbows with your favorite bloggers at the event, but you will also be able to snag some of their own stylish statement pieces as they open their closets to sell to the public. Stay-up-to-date with the biggest gathering of bloggers by following us on Twitter (twitter.com/bloggers_united) and Facebook (facebook.com/bloggersunitedph), and bookmarking our official webpage (bloggersunited.org).

And the new faces of Maze are...Naomi Grace and John Preston! Naomi stands 5'7.5" at 14 y.o. Wow!

I was one of the few lucky Cebu bloggers who scored front row VIP seats to the Maze Teen Model Search last Saturday courtesy of Eden who was hosting the event. The competition was aimed to search for the new female and male face of Maze; a one stop hip shop located at the 3rd floor of Ayala Center, Cebu.
Families, friends, and supporters of the 14 finalists went wild when the models sashayed down the runway in their fashionable clothes styled by the fabulous Yves Camingue of Yves Identify. Ethnic and tribal prints were prevalent on the female models and Yves perfectly captured the fun, fresh, and young vibe of the girls with the styling.
The gowns were created by some of Cebu's young and promising fashion designers. Manuel Tomaque and Hanz Coquilla's creations surely made an impression on me with their intricate detailing.
Two hours later, Naomi Grace Nieuwendaal and John Paul Preston bagged the coveted title as the new faces of Maze. Naomi was kind of the underdog in the competition in terms of audience support with only her father and some family members cheering for her compared to the others who were lucky to have their classmates and the entire clan to lend support. She even tripped a couple of times on stage but still remained poised and charming throughout the competition. And for that, she all the more deserves the title.
Congratulations to the whole team for this very successful event!
Do visit the Maze @ Ayala Center Cebu for all your fashion fix.:)

Since the event also brought the Cebu Fashion Bloggers together, expect truckloads of outfit photos on my next post. :)

Photos from the shoot I had with friends from the office.

Shot this  at exactly 12 noon at some vacant lot in Emely's village. We had to endure curious sneaking looks from her neighbors. One guy even got in the car and intentionally circled the street a couple of times. hahaha
The things you do for facebook profile pictures. Yes, my friends we are vain like that.

The only thing holding together this 36-inch waistline pants is the brown leather belt. I fell in love with this  thrifted PhP5 silk pants because of the print and its just perfect harem-ish loose fit. I swear the pants went right down the floor when i removed the belt to do some bathroom stuff. hahaha

Hope you're all having a great weekend. :)
