The rainy season has started to kick in but that didn't stop us from enjoying  the glorious beach as if it was summer all over again.

A million apologies to Emely for inadvertently not including her in the previous set of photos. That's her in the last photo. She was kind and gracious enough to prepare our sumptuous lunch as always.

And I'd like to say THANK YOU to all of you lovelies for all the sweet comments and encouragements in my last post. You guys surely made my day. :)

Nothing beats celebrating Independence Day in the company of your bestest friends in the exclusivity of an isolated 100-square meter islet with the bluest of blue ocean surrounding its four corners. No cellphone calls, no car horns blowing in the distance, no loud beach-goers, only the freshest salty air and the tranquility that one longs for.

Horray for independence and welcome to Isla Romantica.

Just one of those regular Sundays. Lounging in the mall, have dinner, grab some coffee, then go home, put on the pajamas, go to sleep but then not able to sleep because of the caffeine, read some book, then doze off and dream that tomorrow will be still be Sunday.

My Sundays might be often boring but I like it that way; relaxed and laid back.

What are your Sundays like? :)

Come and Go

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

I took our dog Kaboom to the vet last Saturday for his annual round of anti-rabies shot. My Kaboom is the sweetest and most affectionate dog in the whole world (as with every other dog owners would say. :) ) He was given to us by my sister-in-law some 3 years ago along with his half-sister Ate Sacchi ("Ate" means big sister). But unfortunately, Ate Sacchi has gone to dog heaven after being ran over by a car in our own compound two years ago. I remembered I was in the office when my sister broke to me the sad news through text. I was really devastated and I cried for weeks like a baby. It really broke my heart it felt like I lost a sister or something. She died in the most horrible way. Good thing I did not witness her lifeless body being buried in our front yard. Losing a dog is really tramautic I no longer want to adopt another one for fear of losing them again. But then again, that's life. Loving brings you the happiest feeling but it could also give you greatest heartache.
