{Bloggers United Bazaar 2: What Went Down}

Bloggers United 2 was a total success.Not only were we, the Cebu Fashion Bloggers, able to sell our clothes we also had a blast meeting our favorite fashion bloggers from Manila. Yes, in flesh where we can ogle at their beautiful clothes and shoes! Not only that but the shoppers and guests came in their most fashionable self too. Everything was a chaos (in a totally good way parang panic buying andaming tao haha) during the opening and mostly for the rest of the day. Too bad  I wasn't able to roam around the other bloggers booths coz I was  busy the entire time. I only got to say hi to the bloggers adjacent to our area. Super big thank you from the bottom of my heart to the fabulous organizers AisaMelai, and Ana. You guys are the greatest. Kayo na ang reyna ng Multitasking. Thank you guys for flying us to Manila and made us a part of this very successful event.
Did I mention it rained giveaways too? More on the BU giveaways and loots on my next post. :)

Supposed to not blog about this one because I only had a few photos to share. But it was just amazing that the three of us, Gizelle, Alexa, and I, coincidentally arrived at the airport in colorblocked outfits. So I just had to. Don't we all look so cute? tehehe
It was my first time to travel with these beautiful and fashionable souls and for the first time it's nice to not get comments from a traveling companion that my shorts are too short. Yes, I love to wear shorts during travel because it's light and I feel like my movements are not restrained especially that my luggage is 1 kilo overweight from the standard 15 kg baggage allowance. The only thing off from my comfortable outfit is that I was wearing heels. I had no choice but to wear it coz my bags were already full and there was not enough room to store the heels. hahaha So i just wore it instead. Clever right? Infairness the heels were light and comfy. So at least it lent me some extra inches for the pictures. hahaha

We arrived at Gizelle's tita's house around 10:30 pm and did some last minute price tagging for the clothes I was going to sell at the Bloggers United 2 the following day. Forget about beauty rest! It was one of the longest day ever!

Bloggers United 2 post coming up next! I'll be back for more! :)

P.S. Last photo is by Eden. So paparazzi-ish. :) Thanks Eden!

Currently at NAIA Terminal 3 after my four-day trip to Manille for the Bloggers United 2 and for some office work. I had so much fun at the BU2. I have tons of pics to share with you guys. Hope I could post them all within the week.
Also did some serious clothes replenishment at an ukay store just across the office. They were on sale at PhP20 each and I can't believe I bought twenty pieces which resulted to me being 4 kilos overweight at the airport. hahaha But they were worth it because some of it were designer finds.

Ciao! Will update soon. :)

P.S. Photos were from a client shoot. Yes, I know, STAND-IN lang ako. haha

{LA BELLE AURORE}

I love to read. So much so that I read everything from shampoo labels to food nutrition facts when grocery shopping. Also all sorts of newspapers from English to the dialect tabloid ones. When i was maybe ten or eleven years old, I was addicted to this science book i found at my grandma's house. It tackled astronomy, physics, and meteorology. I read it from cover to cover that it helped me win the best in science award during a grade school competition.
During high school, I got addicted to Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High / University, Archie, and Love Stories. And it may come as a surprise but I loved Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo too. I was also fascinated with books about World History and Chemistry more than I loved PE and recess. haha Yes I was a dork before up until now. haha And i'm not ashamed of it.
Although I'm now too busy to read coz of my toxic schedule, my heart still flutters every time I see a gazillion of books. So you can just imagine how wide eyed and giddy I was when I set foot in La Belle Aurore and saw the floor to ceiling shelves full of books. I totally forgot  that I was there for an engagement shoot. My eyes automatically got busy scanning the shelves for titles so much so that the boyfriend had to call my attention several times to remind me that we were there for business. hahaha
The place is tiny but it exudes a homey and vintage feel. Small it may be but it carried a wide range of books. Some of the titles I stumbled upon were books that were made into a movie like Johnny Cash's autobiography, Seabiscuit, The Good German and a whole lot more. Bought one that intrigued me the most; the Time Traveler's Wife. Because La Belle is a second-hand bookstore, I scored the item for just a little over a hundred bucks. So imagine how many books I could have bought with a thousand peso.
They are opening a coffee shop soon adjacent to the book store  and I think I just might have found the perfect place to enjoy my quiet time in the coming days. I will definitely be back and this time I will have all the hours to scan the shelves from end to end, top to bottom.

Welcome to my new niche. :)

La Belle Aurore is located at Hernan Cortes St.,Banilad, Mandaue City.

Survived a health scare this week. I think stress was a big factor. It has been one hell of a busy week and my body sort of warned me to slow down and relax. But how can I relax when next week and the whole month of December and January is already planned out. But all these work are blessings from the heavens so I will just have to embrace everything and maybe listened to the doctor's advice to drink a lot of water and avoid salty food. Eeeek! The first one I can probably do but the second one? I don't know I think I'm not yet ready to give up on junk food. So help me God.

P.S. It may have looked like I was relaxing at the beautiful  Shangri-la but I was actually working on a shoot here. This even conflicted with the bloggers photoshoot for a newspaper feature in which i was supposedly part of :( But hey there's always next time.
