So here it is, my first foray at DIY:
a military/band-inspired jacket.
Don't laugh now, okey?
I've seen this jacket when I was thrifting at a PhP 50-all-items ($1-all-items) in my favorite thrift shop just 2 blocks away from our house.
I liked it but not enough for me to buy it so I just left it there and went home with my other purchases.
I returned to the shop again the following day and it was still there just hanging in its lonely corner waiting to be discovered and adopted.
When I went back within that week, I saw the jacket again so I reasoned it must have been meant for me. LOL
I grabbed it and thought of ways to spruce up the simple jacket.
So I stitched gold trims and buttons on the jacket for a military/band appeal.
It took me five hours and countless pricks to assemble all the materials.
I ran out of trimmings so the other side is bare yet. I have yet to do additional stitching on the other side.
