{ TIE DYE + DENIM }

Nothing compares to spending Sundays with the people you love. Spent my Easter Sunday with my family for the usual barbecue and pool reunion.

I'm feeling a lot better now that I'm on my fifth month. The puking has semi-stopped and the nausea has subsided. My appetite has improved much; and lately I even find myself ransacking the fridge in the middle of the night. Oh good luck baby weight!

I have also been trying my best to follow my doctor's advice to not wear heels and walk slowly and take everything in stride. The walking slowly part is really a challenge coz I'm known to be a fast walker even in heels. My husband has been nothing but really supportive of this milestone. He is currently my yaya and he's always there for every request that I make even those that are already plain stupid. He has a hint that some of it were just me playing bratty but he still does them without complaining. haha
And I love him for that. :)

{ GUNS AND ROSES }

They're not actually roses but carnations. And no I didn't go out wearing the floral headpiece. I DIY-ed this piece a couple of months ago for a shoot and it happened to be in the car when we shot this so I reckon it would add interest to a rather basic outfit.
The jacket is owned by the boyf, I was the one who bought this for him but I feel like am a tough cookie while wearing this so I might be borrowing this often. :)

Hope you had a fun weekend, loves. :)

{ BUSY DAYS }

One of the things I got busy on doing while I was on blog offduty: photoshoots! This one particularly I served as a stand-in during settings adjustment, in other words EXTRA. haha
On other occasions, I was working my ass off chasing brides and sitting and lying on the grass just to get that good shot. So for that, no towering heels. Just the most basic and comfortable outfit and fuss-free face. Bordering haggard actually, especially after a long day under the blazing heat. haha But all of that are nothing compared to the feeling of fulfillment when you've reviewed the photos and they turned out just like what you have imagined them to be.

{ WHITE OUT }

If there's one thing in this world I would've wanted to be endowed with naturally it would have to be mile-long legs. It's always been my frustration to be tall. Thank God heels and shorts were invented  they give our legs the illusion of length.

But one has to be cautious also when wearing short shorts. If paired with the wrong top and accessories it might make one appear , yes maybe tall, but slutty (at least in the conservative Philippine landscape).
So for me I opted to wear my white shorts with a crisp white long sleeve buttondown to make up for the bare legs. And chose the classic black pumps (no lucite heels please) and a serious-looking bag (that's not an Hermes but how i wish it is!) . I kept the accessories minimal too except for the statement necklace to add a little contrast to the white shirt.

And oh, it does not hurt if you get photographed from the ground up.   That angle does wonders for me. :)

This distressed denim has been in my closet for like forever but i can't seem to give it up. I always get sold out with its perfect color and the snug fit on the hips that's why I'm not yet ready to put it to rest despite its current state of distress.  What once were tiny holes have now developed into wider ones and every time I sit down or pick up something I can hear it being ripped further apart. haha
Paired it with this classic black pumps which I got from Eden to balance out the ruggedness.

{ HURRIED UP }

What I wore to our late Father's Day lunch with the whole family. Everyone was all set waiting for me to get finished as I'm always the last one to get prepared. haha I hate waiting so it's always me who volunteers to be the last one to use the bathroom. The downside to not waiting is you'll also be hurried up by everyone else. So oftentimes I end up lipstick-free or with unkempt hair. haha
This was the outfit I came up with in a hurry. Added the polo to make up for my bare legs. Opted to wear flats since my boyfriend and I had to run errands later that day.

God, it's still Tuesday and I'm already weakened out with all this stress. I can't wait for the weekend to come sooner.

That's all for now,lovelies. Good night!
