{ SOUTH SEA PEARL: A TIMELESS GEM }

Last Wednesday, I was invited to the exclusive and private viewing of Jewelmer Joaillerie pearl collection held at Tinder Box. I seldom attend events like this because of my somewhat busy schedule but this one is hard to pass up. I've always been enamored with the beauty of pearls because they are timeless and a true classic. I don't have real ones yet but it's something I would want to own when I can afford it.
Jewelmer has long been famous for producing these beautiful pearl jewelries. I know because I've always drooled over their elegant gems on the pages of my favorite fashion magazines.
Here are some of the beauties that really strike my fancy. If only I have not been saving up for something life-changing, I would have grabbed any of these babies (probably the cheapest among the bunch? because they're the only ones I can afford :)). But pearls are heirloom pieces so they're a great investment so why not, right?

I bumped into my classmate from high school, Andrew of I Luv Cebu, whom I have not seen in years, together with his equally cute siblings. The event was also attended by Vanessa East and Rabsin of Cebu Fashion Bloggers.

So on to the outfit... What I wore:

Photobucket
Layered a textured sequined top over my casual maxi dress to make it more formal. The cute blush bottom of the dress is what i was really after so I gave it an illusion as a skirt. :)

Accessorized with a satchel bag from Parisian, Gold bangle from Lushae Jewelry, Skull bracelet and necklace from 168, and a ring from SM.

Finally, I have decided a theme for the upcoming important event in my life. Looking at these pictures taken some months back by the boyfriend, I want this celebration to be exactly like this; calm, laidback, intimate, bohemian, whimsical. Now how i wish the planning is also as serene and relaxed as I was in the photos.
Oh well, wish me luck! :)

This distressed denim has been in my closet for like forever but i can't seem to give it up. I always get sold out with its perfect color and the snug fit on the hips that's why I'm not yet ready to put it to rest despite its current state of distress.  What once were tiny holes have now developed into wider ones and every time I sit down or pick up something I can hear it being ripped further apart. haha
Paired it with this classic black pumps which I got from Eden to balance out the ruggedness.

This was what I wore during a dinner date with the boyfriend a while back. We see each other everyday for client meetings and routinary post-production work for our other love, photography. But we seldom go out to just talk about ourselves and be just boyfriend-girlfriend. haha
So we decided to take a break from being business partners, slow down, and celebrate the more important things in life.  A simple dinner, movie date, then coffee after always does the trick. :)
Thank you Lord for the gift of time and for all the blessings that has come our way. :)

P.S. Parang feeling first date lang ang peg ko dito. Agree? haha

{ HURRIED UP }

What I wore to our late Father's Day lunch with the whole family. Everyone was all set waiting for me to get finished as I'm always the last one to get prepared. haha I hate waiting so it's always me who volunteers to be the last one to use the bathroom. The downside to not waiting is you'll also be hurried up by everyone else. So oftentimes I end up lipstick-free or with unkempt hair. haha
This was the outfit I came up with in a hurry. Added the polo to make up for my bare legs. Opted to wear flats since my boyfriend and I had to run errands later that day.

God, it's still Tuesday and I'm already weakened out with all this stress. I can't wait for the weekend to come sooner.

That's all for now,lovelies. Good night!

This was during my three-hour side trip to Tagaytay a day after the Bloggers United 3 event. We had lunch at RSM Lutong Bahay which has one of the perfect and unobstructed view of the Taal volcano.  Big thanks to Gizelle and Charm's Manila-based family for adopting me during the last two blogger events. You guys rock. :) I was supposed to stay a little longer but the thousand mile traffic to Sonia's Garden prevented me to proceed so I decided to just head back to the city for my return flight to Cebu.

As for the outfit, I actually just brought two sets of outfit for BU. One that I wore on the actual event and the other for some chill out time before my flight the next day. Yes, talk about traveling light! I acquired the cape probably a year ago and i have been itching  to wear it ever since I bought it. But every time I open my closet I felt the perfect time has not come yet. I have a penchant for waiting for the right time to wear a certain outfit. haha I don't know it's just me. And it felt right to be worn in chilly Tagaytay so I readily packed it for this trip. :)
