{ GUNS AND ROSES }

They're not actually roses but carnations. And no I didn't go out wearing the floral headpiece. I DIY-ed this piece a couple of months ago for a shoot and it happened to be in the car when we shot this so I reckon it would add interest to a rather basic outfit.
The jacket is owned by the boyf, I was the one who bought this for him but I feel like am a tough cookie while wearing this so I might be borrowing this often. :)

Hope you had a fun weekend, loves. :)

Awww. My dog wants his share of the spotlight too! :)

Did some last minute packing and buying toiletries for my 4-day Manila work stint. The heat has been unbearable lately so I' dressed up in as little clothing as possible.  Decided to wear this  sexy lingerie top but realized  it was too sexy for my own taste so I toned it down by wearing this sweet floral cover-up.
That's all for today. Have to sleep now. Flight tomorrow is at 4:00 a.m. :)

Hope you had a fun weekend! :)

Critical analysis and decision-making can be draining. Sometimes I wish my work only entails the routinary typing and filing. When someone relies on you for decisions on things you yourself  is unsure of, now that can be tough. Because you don't want to be too careless on your advice or you will be blamed too in the process should it fail. So sometimes I wish I could just sit there stamp papers and probably daydream of beach and sunsets all day while doing stuff that does not need any major brain activity. But then that would be so boring right? But it does not hurt if i can have that peace once in a while.

What I wore to our summer outing with the fam bam.
We went to Dakong Bato Leisure Resort in Dalaguete, a southern town located  2 hours away from the city. It was a long ride but the scenic view, relaxed and not so crowded beach made it worthwhile.

As for the outfit, this flowy stripe and floral maxi dress is perfect for the summer breeze. I got this during one of my short work stints in Las Pinas. I always travel alone so I kill time by scouring the thrift shops just a stone throw away from the office.

The title by the way is a song by the Wonggoys, a Cebuano band, that's making waves in the music scene. They sound good live or recorded. With accompaniment or without. In short, they are extremely talented. Plus they are down-to-earth. That's why I'm a big fan. :)

{ FLOWER CHILD : PREVIEW }

Photobucket

I promised the boyfriend he'll be the first to post photos but a teaser will not hurt, right?
He had me pose for him  so he can practice on the editing software he bought recently. I stole one picture  and edited it my way. haha He's gonna kill me for this but he doesn't stalk my blog so he wouldn't know. haha What you don't know won't hurt you, as the saying goes.

Once he gets to round up the set, I'll share them here. :)

Keeping it simple, comfortable, and girly during one of those client meetings. I strongly believe that the world will not end this 2012. It shouldn't be because some things in my life that were previously in disarray are finally falling into its place. I believe this is my year.
Thank you so much Lord for all the blessings.

Channeling the 90's slash Chloe Sevigny look.

You probably heard about the recent earthquake that hit Cebu and Negros by now. I'm glad it's all over although some aftershocks here and there are still felt. My heart goes out to all those badly affected in Negros. :( The victims and their families are in my prayers.

On a lighter note, I have finally opened my online shop where I'm selling either pre-loved or thrifted items at very affordable prices.  Some of the items were already sold on facebook. But I will update the site with more stuff within the week.

So do check out  SHOP DRED REVERIES!

Funds generated from this shop goes to my WEDDING DRESS fund. haha

Thank you for always supporting my little blog  :)

Ph. Marlon Capuyan || Shot on location @ The Manor, Baguio City

The boyfriend once asked me what is it about bloggers and that looking-at-the-ground thing when being photographed? I don't know with the other bloggers but my answer to that is this: i am too shy to look straight to the camera especially when there are a lot of people (or worse strangers) around. So i just act as if I don't really care. haha
Everytime I'm in a public place like a mall for example, I just instruct the boyfriend to  click click click then I just move a little, bend a little or pretend to walk away so as not to be obvious that I am being photographed. S&#t! What can I do I am painfully shy like that.

At nag-fashion blogger pa ako. Eh gusto ko to eh. Whatever!

How about you guys, what is your explanation to this generic and fail safe fashion blogger pose? :)

Currently at NAIA Terminal 3 after my four-day trip to Manille for the Bloggers United 2 and for some office work. I had so much fun at the BU2. I have tons of pics to share with you guys. Hope I could post them all within the week.
Also did some serious clothes replenishment at an ukay store just across the office. They were on sale at PhP20 each and I can't believe I bought twenty pieces which resulted to me being 4 kilos overweight at the airport. hahaha But they were worth it because some of it were designer finds.

Ciao! Will update soon. :)

P.S. Photos were from a client shoot. Yes, I know, STAND-IN lang ako. haha

BEAUTY AND BUTTER

I got invited by Mac of STYLE CEBU for a blogger hang out at Beauty and Butter spa/salon in SM You guys probably know by now that I seldom go out but this one I had to make time because a) I so wanted to try nail art for too long already b) I wanted to wear my PhP 20-thrifted robe dress I got two weeks ago from Las Pinas and c) i wanted to meet Mac whom i met (at least in the pictures) a little over a year ago while browsing a wedding blog, i stalked her portfolio a couple of times, i was a fan I just had to meet her, period.

On to the outfit...

Because i seldom go out, I lack practice so my make-up skills are a little poor so I had to seek my officemate's help. Props to Dani of ESSENTIAL SANCTUARY for the make-up. Naks! Feeling celebrity. haha
I'm wearing a vintage robe dress, thrifted belt, PrP red heels, and various 168 accessories. :)

BEAUTY AND BUTTER

Everybody's all settled with their respective "buttercups" attending to their pampering needs when Mac and I arrived. The place exudes a fun and quirky vibe and I love the rich and colorful interior design. They offer a wide range of services like foot spa, facial, mani/pedi, nail art, among others.    I was actually torn between getting a nail art or a foot spa. The variety of cute nail art designs to choose from won me over. Did I also mention they have all the yummy neon colors I so wanted to try. After changing my mind for like 48 times on what design to choose,  I finally settled for this black and pink animal print. But I am so dying to try the other designs I already told the boyfriend that next time instead of waiting for him to get his hair styled at a nearby salon, I'll have my dose of well deserved pampering at Beauty and Butter. haha
Too bad I wasn't able to chat up with the other bloggers and pose for a photo op coz I was the last one to got finished. But last night was super fun I pinky promise to be more active in blogger events from now on. :)
