Never mind if I looked haggard, dehydrated, and about to die of heat stroke in the pictures. I assisted the boyfriend in almost everything; brought the multitude of props from one location to another under the sweltering heat of the sun, held the tripod and the flash gun, and other PA matters you can think of. See, having a very supportive girlfriend always come in handy. All these I did in the name of love for the boyfriend and photography. But good things come to those who are patient. Coz as you know, the boy proposed to me after the photoshoot. LOL
I can't wait to post photos but we have to wait till April for the couple's wedding. It's all confidential for now. tehehe

Day 2 of the engagement shoot.
No doubt. Summer came too early.
And I am loving every minute of it.
Well except for the itchy and painful sunburn I acquired from lounging in the beach for an extended period of time. Stupid me for forgetting to pack in the sunblock.
The burnt skin is starting to peel off (i know, ewwwww!) so sleeveless shirts and dresses are a no-no for me these days. Unless I wanna risk looking like someone with a bad case of white spots infection. LOL
Maybe I don't mind. As long as I'll have my share of surf, sand, and sun!

Hope everyone will have a blast this summer. :)

It was after the engagement shoot we took for a client when the boyfriend and I decided to hit the beach. I was taking pictures of myself and the sceneries while he was refreshing himself with the cool waters of Moalboal. He waved to me to join him but i declined because I wanted to work on my summer skin glow. LOL He was getting irritated by the minute so I succumbed to his request. I hit the water.
Little did I know that the next 30 minutes or so, something life-changing and memorable is going to happen.
No, I was not attacked by a shark.LOL
We were laughing and playing around in the shallow water when he suddenly became so serious. He asked me what I wanted for V-day and after a short thought I replied I want some new flipflops for the summer. I changed my mind and said i wanted a new pair of shoes.
Then I noticed he was holding something under the water. I could not make out what it was, I thought it was just a precious piece of sea shell.
Curious and without any clue, I haphazardly asked him in my cutest and naive voice (pointing to that something he was holding) "What's that?"
He just smiled and let that thing out from the water. Then I saw it was a box. Right then and there when I saw it, before he could say anything I was just laughing my heart out while he uttered the words, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?". I was speechless and dumbfounded. I just laughed and at the same time cried for like three whole minutes. Then he asked me again because I was just so caught up in the moment that I forgot to reply to his proposal. I told him "OF COURSE baby!"

We have spent our past three Valentines day together in Moalboal. The place is extra special for both of us. And he knows that the beach is my favorite place on earth. He chose the perfect place.

Someday, when we're already married and rich, we're gonna build our own beach house in Bas Daku, and reminisce the exact spot where we made it official.
I love you very much baby. Always and forever.
Now I'm being mushy.
But who cares?

wearing thrifted lace skirt, gap tank top, thrifted blazer, gold studded belt, vintage chainlink bag, gold chain headband from sm, and bandage shoes from mse (i was hesitant to buy this at first because of the heel height (3") am not used to heels less than 4" but it looked sexy on my feet. i'm glad i did coz it saved me from standing for hours during the wedding. tehehe)

There's always about weddings that makes it a tearjerker. Must be because after the tribulations and the storms, it's the fact that the couple's love for each other made them rise above it all. The couple was a client of ours, though they maybe strangers, but I couldn't help crying a river of tears when they said their thank you's to their family and friends. Makes me worry about my own wedding. A water-proof mascara will be very necessary. LOL To Rob and Grace, congratulations for a very beautiful, solemn, and intimate wedding. Wishing you a lifetime of bliss!

I am going to leave their engagement pictures for you to see how perfect they are for each other. :)
