Worth more than a gazillion slippers

Who doesn't own a trusty and comfy pair of Havaianas? I do,3 years ago.  Yes, while almost every girl (and guy!) i know was collecting their nth pair, i had none and still stuck to my banana peel slippers. I'm a very practical person and i'm one who doesn't spend PhP 890.00 for a pair of rubber slippers so it took a while before i succumbed to buying one.  I was in Ayala shopping for Christmas gifts when I decided to finally buy myself a pair. And yes while everyone was happy with their high tech gadgets as gifts, i was happy with my PhP 890-havaianas. I take happiness in simple and trivial things in life.
I wore it through all my beach escapades, trips to the mall, and almost every place I went to (yes, i went through a flip-flops phase and i still do right now, they're super comfy you can't blame me.LOL). I loved it, it was my default footwear. It was always in my bag to save me from the pain brought by high heels. That precious pair served me well for the two years that it lasted. Although the rubber soles were still thick but the thong got cut off. I tried to remedy the problem by putting a small nail and stopper at the back to keep it intact. My sister kept telling me to just let it go and replace it with a new Havs but I just really refused to give it up. I loved that pair so much. The numerous repairs made the slippers useful a few times but it repeatedly fell off and died on me that I decided it was time to just give it a rest. You can call me pathetic for holding on to a pair of slippers but for me it meant saving something I really love.

I am like that. I'm not one who gives up so easily.

So to you my dear boyfie, I'll never get tired of saving you. Remember, you are worth a gazillion Havs and I love you a gazillion times over.

Slept so late the previous day so I just grabbed the first thing that my eyes laid upon when I woke up and the clock says 6:15 a.m. I was really running late for my 7:30 am job. Had to tie my wet hair in a bun coz I hate wetting the back of my shirt; the downside of having long hair in addition to huge consumption of shampoo/conditioner and longer time spent in the shower.
And oh how I love this fringe lace blouse so much even if my officemates tease me for its resemblance to a table cloth. Plus I  got this for only PhP 10.00 ($0.20). My heart practically somersaulted when I found this beauty.

Spent the day processing student driver's permit. I didn't know getting one was such a hassle. I'm too scared to drive that's why I don't have a license up to now. That ATV crash in Mt. Luho in Boracay left me more traumatized to ever try driving. Can't even maneuver a simple grocery cart. I keep bumping on other shoppers' carts or worse on display shelves. LOL I can't even drive a bump car. I'm always in the passenger seat. Okey enough of that before I shame myself to death. LOL

I Love You, Wednesday.

I wish my company would scrap out the uniform policy already so I can get away with wearing anything I want (decent and office-appropriate of course) without being called off by the guard or issued with a delinquency memo for not not wearing the uniform.
Uniforms are boring and although they are practical and economical, they take away your right to self-expression and individuality.
That is why Wednesday, or what we call "wash day" or "no uniform day" is such a joy to wake up to because I can be my  fashionable self and wear my precious clothes which, by the way, has started to gather dust in the closet.
And another reason why I love Wednesday is the fact that I am halfway with the work week already. It seems time goes by so fast after Wednesday and before you know it, it's already Saturday.

I swear I stepped on a lot of horse shit. My shoes had mud all over and my mom had to scold me for stepping into the house with dry earth falling with every step that I make.
Is it just me or what but I like the smell of dried horse and chicken shit. Maybe I'm just weird like that? LOL

Obviously, I didn't have any intention in riding one of these beautiful beasts that is why I'm dressed like I was going to the beach. Yeah, I was hoping that the boyfriend will take me to the nearby ocean for some chillaxing after the client's engagement shoot.
But oh well, he didn't. No hard feelings there. **sniff sniff**

Finally, the boyfriend agreed to cut his two year-old long hair. I had to bribe him for a new pair of shoes so that he'd say yes to the deal.

As for me, I'm still undecided whether to have a perm or not. I haven't styled nor trimmed my hair for the last two years except for a little fringe which I cut myself on various occasions out of boredom. So everyday is always a bad hair day I just try to hide it with a head wrap or anything cute to conceal the voluminous amount of hair. LOL I don't know why I'm letting it grow maybe I'm just saving it for the perfect time when I'm adamant to go for some curly locks.
