Flowers and Forestry

Last sunday we had a pre-debut shoot at Beverly Hills Lahug and Busay. The debutante is every photographer's dream; very charming, gorgeous, and very natural in front of the camera. She's so cute she looks no more than a 15-year old kid. Yeah I called her kid, I feel so old already. hahaha
The skies were kind of gloomy so we were amazed at how great the pictures turned out considering the boyfriend and his friend shot it using available light.

I guess it's every normal budding teenager's dream to celebrate her 18th birthday like a fairy tale; to be introduced to the society while walking down a grand staircase and wowing the guests with one's regal ball gown and perfectly made-up face.
I never had that ten years ago (yeah you do the math)
because a) my family couldn't afford it  and b) even if we could afford it, i wouldn't have enjoyed it because i get conscious when people ogle at me.
Instead, I celebrated it with a simple pool party with my closest high school best friends.

How about you lovelies, how did you celebrate your 18th-year milestone into womanhood? :)

By the way, here are samples of the pics. For more of the photos, you can check them HERE at MarlonCapuyanPhotography

OMG! I supaaah love your outfit! wow every time I go to your blog, summer is always in the air. Forget about fall and winter! Haha. Lovely photos of the debutant. Looove her skirt and yes, she is really cute :)

I celebrated my 18th birthday in an orphanage. I couldn't afford debut as well. My bday was a jollibee kiddie party (using my savings from my working student income) and only invited few of my closest friends. My 18 roses were the 18 little boys in the orphanage :)

I did not celebrate 18, because celebration of 17 wasn't really good, hah.

Great pictures! I love her gray outfit!

Peace and love!

i didn't have a grand 18th birthday too..just had a mexican-themed party at home...with family and my closest friends. i love the frilly skirt of the debutante here though..and the color looks like it came out from alice in wonderland...

ps. you're very brave for wearing such a bold print...only you can pull it off!
