I used to be a bookworm in high school reading anything from Sweet Valley High / University, Love Stories, Hardy Boys, Archie (does that count? lol) down to the Encyclopedia and anything History-related (yeah i love History so much!). But lost touch of my bookwormish self during college the time when the internet was spreading like wildfire.
Now I'm rekindling my passion for books after i found this tattered, with pages already yellow and brittle, The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, when I was cleaning our book shelf. We had this since like forever but never really got interested because of its shabby appearance. Now I know why one shouldn't judge a book by its cover. It turned out to be so good I couldn't put it down and has been the reason why I skipped meals, has foregone web surfing, and snubbing the boyfriend during our beach trip last weekend. hahahaha
Anyone care to suggest books that are worth reading? I'm looking out for my next read. The last book I read was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows so it's really been ages ago already.

wearing:

Oversized crochet top - thrifted for PhP 5! (that's like zero US dollar. :))
Denim shorts - DIY
Flip Flops - Havaianas
Floppy hat - from One Cebu expo at the CICC
Sunnies - Mongkok night market (my current fave)

I looove your photos! I wish I live near the beach! I love the beach! Awesome outfit too! Loveeely!

I'm a bookworm myself too. I kinda lost my passion over the years, but promised to rekindle with it this year. I highly recommend 'The Help' and 'The Guernsey and the Potato Peel Society'. Those are my favorite reads this year, so far. And would you believe, I just gave in to HP this year. Started reading the series last July, and I'm now on the last book. LOL!

Your blog is really one of my favorites, Dred! Yeah, we kinda have similar tastes in clothes!

What good book can do! I love books too.

I recommend you books Conversations with God 1, 2 and 3. If you didn't read them already. I love these books, because they are full of the answers on the questions that everybody who thinks is asking. Also, there are answers about space and time, which are written so simple and clearly that is easy to understand them. And I love this. Highly recommended!

Peace and love!
