the simple things

We escaped the unbearable heat in the city in exchange for a little chill and relaxation only to be confined in a much more hot environment. It was way too hot in the mountain resort that we ended up sleeping instead of experiencing some of their outdoor activities like fishing, biking, trekking. The heat was just killing me (felt sweaty all over, ewww!) so I had no choice but to immense myself in the only body of water...the pool. I'm not much of pool person but the place left me no choice.

All in all, I'd rather we have spent the holiday on a beach. If some of my officemates weren't so grumpy and sissy (take note boys!), we would have pushed through with our original plan for a beach escapade down south or maybe go island hopping. That would have been more fun.Hahaha

No offense to the place, the view is still breathtaking especially if you climb the hills.
